Meet David Salsa
David is a classically trained actor with an M.F.A. from the Actor’s Studio Drama School in New York and nearly 20 years of professional experience on stage and screen. After five seasons as a resident company member at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, he returned to Los Angeles, where he has appeared in television shows including Superstore, Criminal Minds, Castle, Days of Our Lives, CSI: Cyber, Scorpion, Criminal Minds and Loot, as well as feature films and pilots.
As a teacher for 15 years, David is known for his warmth, humor, and ability to meet actors where they are. He has led workshops in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and India, guiding students to lean into their unique strengths while breaking through creative blocks. His coaching style blends professional rigor with genuine empathy—helping students not only sharpen their craft, but also find confidence, joy, and authenticity in their work.
